Casio G-Shock: SHOCK THE WORLD TOUR BANGKOK

This year 2009,Casio G-Shock celebrates their 25th anniversary with the massive campaign called “SHOCK THE WORLD” for their worldwide fans. Bangkok, Thailand is one of the biggest fans. To emphasize Casio’s motto “Creating things that don’t yet exist; creating one from zero while contributing to society” Central Marketing Group (Thailand’s Casio G-Shock retailer) brought “Shock the world” event to town. The grand opening ceremony was held at ZEN Department Store, Bangkok.

All the big cities such as HK , NY , Paris , London etc. were all in and got a well response from the fans around the world.


The high-light is the jewels 4.30 karats (cost around 19,700 US Dollars) and if you want it, you have to pay the price. Yep! It’s for the auction. There are also the debut of DW-6900 G-Men and Baby-G BG-5601 which were made only for the host countries and only 100 pieces for Thailand.

Anyone who purchases one of these 2 limited will get not only the coolest watch but also get a free “Shock the world” party ticket to continue the sense of shock at Demo Night Club on 9th December, 2009.


The ceremony also featured the interview of Thai celebrities who have been in love with G-Shock for several years and the watch exhibition that has many collaboration G-Shock watches.

The “Shock the world” is shocking from 3 Nov - 8 Nov, 2009 at ZEN Department Store Bangkok ,Thailand.
